Wow, Vanessa, another beautiful collage piece. Add this one to your previous piece, and I'm picturing that quilt coming to life. What a treasure that would be.

Hello, my dearest Miss V. I've been thinking a lot this week about the millions displaced in this world, all the injustices, and the hateful, racist rhetoric being thrown about by people who are supposed to be leading us. We have so many privileges in our lives here and so much to be thankful for. One of the things I am grateful for, today, tomorrow and always, is your friendship and the way you uplift me with your colorful pictures. Whenever the world seems bleak, I look at your art and hear your voice in my head, and I'm reminded that love will prevail. Hate will never win. You keep me sane, my dear Miss V. You really, honestly do. I love this little girl with her outstretched arms. I'd love to see her gigantic on a mural for all to see, because we all need to be reminded of humanity. You are beloved, through and through and through. Wishing you a blessed and beautiful and bountiful Thanksgiving. XOXO
